Description

The Dayseeker x Three Chord Bourbon Backstage Series release was blended with the band backstage at a tour stop in Rochester, NY — built around depth, contrast, and big flavors.

The blend brings together a unique blend of 4-8 year old bourbons from Kentucky, Tennessee, and Indiana. Only about 5% of the blend was finished in Amburana barrels, providing a kick of flavor.

Amburana is powerful. It can take over fast. So instead of letting it run the show, we used it like the right note in the right place — adding warmth, spice, and character without drowning out the whiskey underneath.

The result is a limited collaboration release that hits with structure, sweetness, and a subtle barrel-finished twist — made for fans of Dayseeker, Three Chord, and whiskey with a little more volume.

Tasting Notes

Color

Deep amber with copper and burnt orange highlights.

Nose

Warm baking spice, toasted oak, vanilla bean, and caramelized sugar up front, followed by subtle notes of cinnamon, dried fruit, soft leather, and a light Amburana lift of sweet spice and toasted pastry.

Palate

Layered and full-bodied, with classic bourbon notes of caramel, brown sugar, oak, and vanilla balanced by darker rye-like spice from the Tennessee whiskey and older Indiana bourbon components. The small Amburana finish adds a controlled touch of cinnamon roll, clove, and warm bakery spice without overpowering the base whiskey.
